ABSTRACT
The changes to the mathematics Order are those of an alteration in structure and format, rather than content. No new non-statutory guidance has been commissioned. The new mathematics Order will fit just as well alongside the existing non-statutory guidance as did the 1991 Order. The emphasis on Key Stages in particular is a new aspect for mathematics.
