ABSTRACT

The purpose and scope of radiation measurements vary widely from one setting to another. It may be that we are engaged in measurements of

1. intensity levels in a known radiations environment to determine hazard levels

2. energies and/or intensities of various types of radiations in a complex environment

3. energy correlations of various types of radiations to build decay schemes of nuclei

4. energy and time correlations of various types of radiations to determine decay schemes and lifetimes.
