ABSTRACT
The Young's modulus and creep properties of concrete at very early ages after placing, change extremely with time, so there is no reliability on the thermal stress estimated by strain if non-stress components and varying Young's modulus be not accurately evaluated. In the laboratory, an appa ratus has been designed to measure the thermal stress of concrete at an early age. An apparatus for in situ measurement was not available.
