ABSTRACT
The conduct of medical investigations is not much different in that mastering the fundamentals of investigation greatly increases the likelihood of a well thought out, thoroughly conducted investigation. In sports, the goal is to perform at our best, implementing sound fundamentals and
hopefully win the game. In the conduct of medical investigations, the goal is to implement sound fundamental investigative techniques resulting in a thorough investigation obtaining the necessary facts to determine if some form of sanction is warranted.
