ABSTRACT
This chapter presents definitions and key principles of mentoring and explains how and why it can be of great value to teachers, their students and their organisations. We will introduce you to examples of how mentoring should work in practice, and provide your own ‘get mentored’ checklist, to help you make sure that you get the support you deserve.
