ABSTRACT
In the regional metaphysical domain of ethics, the subject knower possesses the power and the responsibility to determine at least partially the nature of the subject matter. The joint status of metaphysical truth as being both prescriptive and descriptive arises because the metaphysical truth of this region is descriptive of human beings who possess the power to bring descriptions into actualization. In regional metaphysics, there is no need to trace the metaphysical truths in ethics back to the necessity of the Divine nature. In the regional metaphysical domain of ethics, the subject knower possesses the power and the responsibility to determine at least partially the nature of the subject matter. Phenomenological introspection is of course an independent realm of inquiry and truth finding and does not need to defer to metaphysics in order to validate its own found data.
