ABSTRACT
The G-suit has become a standard item of flight equipment for the pilot of a high-performance fast jet aircraft operating in the high +Gz environment. The G-suit has a relatively long history, and while there are newer forms of suit being developed and deployed operationally, the G-suit in common use around the world today has not significantly changed from the design dating back to the 1940s and 1950s.
