ABSTRACT

A video blog can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. The upside of the medium is that there is no automatic expectation from the viewing audience for special effects and fancy transitions. That’s not to say you shouldn’t have effects or transitions, it just makes your job a little easier. The real focus here is on content, a concept that should not be forgotten while in post. A short but tight video without wandering shots, long pauses or distracting cuts is going to keep the viewer locked in. Focus on the rhythm of the video, keep it moving, keep it interesting and you’ll keep the viewer.
