ABSTRACT

The OpenAjax Alliance definition of a mashup is a

Website or application that combines content from more

than one source into an integrated experience. In other

words, applications that aggregate data from multiple

sources are called a mashup. A mashup brings together

data from various sources that are not generally accessible.

Web feeds (RSS and Atom), public interfaces (Web ser-

vices), internal API, and even screen scraping are common

sources of mashup content.
