ABSTRACT
The main function of network security is to control access
to the network and its shared resources. It serves as the first
line of defense against unauthorized access to the
PeopleSoft application.
At the network security layer, it is important to
implement login controls. PeopleSoft 7.5 delivers limited
authentication controls. If third-party tools are not going to
be used to enhance the PeopleSoft authentication process,
then it is essential that the controls implemented on this
layer are robust.
