ABSTRACT
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the ability to
identify physical objects through a radio interface.
Usually, an RFID is a tag that holds a small amount of
unique data, or a serial number or other unique attribute of
the item. This data can be read from a distance, and no
physical contact or line of sight is necessary. Fig. 1 describes
the general model of how an RFID infrastructure operates.
