ABSTRACT
Remote access has opened up a newworld of possibilities for
the Internet-connected enterprise. Today, users can access
their corporate network from a hotel room or coffee shop in
nearly any city in theworld.Network administrators can now
manage the entire enterprise network from the comfort of
their home, no longer needing to drive back to the office at
3:00AM to address a critical issue. Thin client technology and
virtual private network access have made it possible to gain
access to the enterprise network anytime from anywhere.
