ABSTRACT

Business continuity planning (BCP) has received more

attention and emphasis in the past year than it has probably

had cumulatively during the past several decades. This is

an opportune time for organizations to leverage this atten-

tion into adequate resourcing, proper preparation, and

workable business continuity plans. Business continuity

planning is not glamorous, not usually considered to be

fun, and often a little mundane. It can have all the appeal of

planning how to get home from the airport at the end of an

all-too-short vacation.
