ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the identification of the time history of pollution release in the case of nonlinear reaction. As is often in numerical analysis, the solution to a nonlinear problem is obtained by successively solving linear problems. Using the sentinels of the linearized problem leads us to introduce a Gauss-Newton algorithm.
