ABSTRACT

This chapter presents 162 examples of substitution tasks performed by Occupational Health Service workers. The examples are taken from a questionnaire study among all the Occupational Health Centres in the country in August 1987. The examples are arranged according to product groups so that products with the same function are gathered in one place. The chapter gives an index of product groups. This index may be used as a primary entry to the examples, if experiences with replacement of coolants/lubricants (for example) are sought. The examples are listed according to the product group index. In the professional group index, all substitutions are listed by number under the professional group in which the substitution has been performed. The Occupational Health Service is under a vow of confidentiality according to Occupational Health Service order §18. The vow of confidentiality concerns the knowledge the Occupational Health Service workers acquire through their work.
