ABSTRACT
Couplings between currents and electromagnetic fields can be made deliberately but can also be harmful, e.g., due to energy losses caused by eddy currents, or due to electromagnetic disturbances induced in the tracks of printed circuit boards. Inductors made as windings on ferromagnetic cores have numerous other applications.
