Stabbing in the trunk incurs a high risk of injuring vital organs, with a consequent high probability of a lethal infection. Therefore, this method is less seen and reported. Sometimes fragments of the weapon or foreign bodies remain and can be documented by a radiologic method (Figure 10.1).
