Appendix F – Risk-Based Testing

GxP Priority is just one risk factor to consider when determining the degree of risk associated with a particular software module, application or function.

For instance, a software module may be of high GxP criticality but if it has been tested by the supplier, used by hundreds of other pharmaceutical companies and has not been modified, the risk of using such a module may be low and it may require little or no testing.
