ABSTRACT
Uses in biology X-ray crystallography has been used to determine to highresolution the three-dimensional structures of thousands of biological molecules ranging from relatively small molecules to complex and large proteins. The technique requires that the molecules to be studied can be made to form regular crystals, or in some cases fibers.
