ABSTRACT
Medicine is a 'people' business. We're not working just with highly purified
reagents used in fixed quantities in well characterized systems. Real medical
care is about working with fuzzy things. It took me awhile to realize
this. My background is in physical sciences: chemistry, physics and math.
