ABSTRACT
Sometimes a whole task may be hard to conceive (develop a mental model) or it may present an exceptionally high workload that blocks the student from getting the proper idea about how to do it. Such tasks can be broken down into components (part tasks) which the student learns individually before having to put them all together in performing the whole task.
