ABSTRACT
The rhBMP-2 is produced in CHO cells using recombinant DNA technology. After recovery from the cell culture media, the protein is subjected to a number of highresolution chromatography and filtration steps. The purified protein is lyophilized in the presence of sucrose, glycine, L-glutamic acid, sodium chloride, and polysorbate 80 (as excipients).
