ABSTRACT

Description: Ovitrelle (Ovidrel in the U.S.) is a recombinant human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). The hormone is a heterodimeric glycoprotein, consisting of a 92-amino acid α subunit and a 145-amino acid β subunit. It is pro duced by recombinant DNA technology in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and is provided as a lyophilized powder (250 µg/vial) with a solvent for reconstitution prior to subcutaneous administration.
