ABSTRACT
The Grid, as you might have already noticed, has been more of a matter of evolution than revolution. Much the way that man is supposed to have evolved through time, being what we would like to believe is the latest and most complete evolution, so is the Grid seen to be the most ultimate, so far, species of computing. Computing has evolved through centralized computing, the World Wide Web, peer-to-peer computing, and the virtualization of underlying technologies.
