Links in 2–surfaces in R3. Simplest link invariants

Knots (links) embedded in R3 can be considered as curves (families of curves) in 2surfaces, where the latter surfaces are standardly embedded in R3. In this chapter we shall prove that all knots and links can be obtained in this manner.
