ABSTRACT
In society today access to adequate health care is considered paramount, with extensive use being made of state-of-the-art technological methods, novel instruments, medical aids and biocompatible implant materials and devices. Such technological support has spread to almost all sections of medical science, together with areas as diverse as prevention, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation.
