ABSTRACT
The epoline® Online Filing product enables you to submit patent applications to the European Patent Office electronically. To use epoline Online Filing, you must first register and receive the software and validating device by mail from the European Patent Office. Unlike the current system of the USPTO and PCT, this is a rather long procedure that may take weeks and months before you can be ready to use the system. The EPO processes the requests on a batch basis, meaning you have to wait until enough requests have been made for the EPO to assemble the package for you.
