ABSTRACT
The preceding chapter articulated the difference between disassembly sequencing (how to disassemble) and disassembly planning (how much to disassemble). While chapters 4 through 7 mostly dealt with disassembly sequencing, chapter 8 dealt with disassembly planning. This chapter discusses the disassembly line-balancing problem, which falls within the domains of both disassembly sequencing and disassembly planning.
