ABSTRACT
You should never underestimate the importance of your image acquisition hardware. Choosing the right combination can save hours of development time and strongly influence the performance of your built application. The number of cameras, acquisition cards and drivers is truly mind-boggling, and can be daunting for the first-time Vision developer. This book does not try to cover the full range of hardware available, but instead describes common product families most appropriate to the LabVIEW Vision developer.
