ABSTRACT

In the first four chapters, we looked at the basics of what we termed taxonomy theory, which is our approach to processing and analyzing data gained from almost any kind of situation, particularly safety situations. We hope the field is of interest in itself, but perhaps not surprisingly, working in the area has prompted us to examine the psychological theories commonly used in safety science and psychological theory in general.
