ABSTRACT
We are now approaching the end of the book, and we should begin to tie all the various threads of the argument together. First, however, we have to return to the theme of Chapter 1 and go over (one more time) the subject of rules and laws. Here, we attempt to show how Chapter 1 and Chapter 5 relate to each other, that is, how the idea of a law is the unifying concept that links technical rationality (TR) and cognitivism.
