ABSTRACT
A 41-year-old female presents to your hospital’s diagnostic clinic complaining of a nonhealing ulcer on her left forearm. She first noted the lesion 2 days earlier and has sought medical attention because it has doubled in size since that time. She denies trauma, including insect bites, and has no significant chronic illnesses.
