ABSTRACT
Compressible fluid dynamics is modeled numerically using the Lagrangian and the Eulerian equations of motion. One, two and three-dimensional models and codes have been developed over the last fifty years using various numerical methods for solving the equations of motion and to describe the compressible equation of state.
