ABSTRACT

The autopsy answers the Þnal question: Why did life pass from a speciÞc human body? It is a question we have all asked when a loved one, friend, coworker, or even a public Þgure dies. The more untimely the death, the more tragic it seems, so many more questions arise. A wife asks why her healthy husband suddenly collapses and is unresponsive. Coworkers are puzzled as they watch a young bricklayer cry out in pain and fall to his death from a great height. An entire country wants to know how its president was assassinated. The autopsy serves to answer these and many other questions.
