B Back-end interface A graphical user interface, i.e., a computer program that
processes model output data, usually converting text to graphics. For example, a back-end interface can convert ASCII output to graphs, charts, and plots. Also called output interface or postprocessor. See also frontend interface (input interface or postprocessor).
