Step 1: Perform Data Reduction
Task 1: Ensure All Tests Were Executed/Resolved
During this task, the test plans and logs are examined by the test team to verify that all tests were executed (see Exhibit 20.1). The team can usually do this by ensuring that all the tests are recorded on the activity log and examining the log to confirm that the tests have been completed. When there are defects that are still open and not resolved, they need to be prioritized and deployment workarounds need to be established.
