ABSTRACT
The two objectives in the use of conceptual models for the evaluation of ground-water flow in site assessments are:
• Site characterization –– To develop a sound and informed understanding of the geology and geohydrology, the natural hydraulic character and chemical evolution of the ground-water system, and ground-water flow directions and rates.
