ABSTRACT
Interference canceling capabilities of the optimal antenna array processors discussed in previous chapters assumed implicitly or explicitly that the desired signals arriving from the look direction and the nonlook directional interferences are not correlated. Correlation between the desired signal and unwanted interference exists in situations of multipath arrivals and deliberate jamming, and affects the performance of antenna array processors as discussed in [Wid82, God90, Tak87, Sha85, Han86, Han88, Lut86, Red87, Zol88, Ali92, Qia95, Cho87, Tak86, Wil88, Han92].
