ABSTRACT
The chapter contains a description of the WBEM architecture. The WBEM server lies at the heart of this architecture and you may find it useful to place a bookmark in page 39 so that you can easily refer to Figure 4.4 as you read this chapter. I will start, however, with the problem that the WBEM architecture is designed to solve.
