ABSTRACT
I am a working engineer designing management systems for telecommunications products. This is the book that I needed when I first started to work with WBEM/CIM.
WBEM/CIM is a hot topic in a number of areas, including the storage network, electrical power supply, desktop computing, and telecommunications industries. These industries are seeking a common and flexible way of managing a collection of heterogeneous devices and services. WBEM/CIM provides this standardisation and addresses the management of services in particular.
