ABSTRACT
All investigations should have structure, and in order to achieve the desired objectives, the search for meaningful facts must be systematic and organized. That structure is called the process of investigation. The process enhances the effectiveness of deciphering and reconstructing past events, and it allows others who follow in the footsteps of the factfinder to independently validate his conclusion(s).
