ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the laboratory analytical techniques most commonly applied in nuclear forensic investigations and describes the strengths and limitations of the various techniques, as well as provides illustrative examples of the types of samples to which each technique is best suited. More specific information on the use of these techniques can be found in the chapters containing specific case studies (Chapters 20 to 25).
