ABSTRACT
We believe that the discussion that follows presents sufficient information about nuclear explosive devices that the nuclear forensic analyst can benefit from it. For obvious reasons, this is a sensitive subject. The reader is referred to Glasstone [1] for a good, comprehensive discussion of the performance of nuclear explosives. Further, if a suitable U.S. security clearance is held, references [2,3] are quite good.
