ABSTRACT
The analysis methods in Chapter 6 are used to assist research and development team efforts to learn about a new area of interest, to determine what deserves attention, to find out what actually occurs, to discover what may be going wrong or could go wrong and to learn what others in similar situations have done. The evaluation methods in Chapter 8 make it possible to evaluate how well the decisions that were made during the design process actually turn out.
