ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will start our work in the multivariable calculus. Our study will be similar to what has been done in Chapters 1–6. In particular, we will be interested in the precise understanding of the derivative. This will, of course, require some discussion of limits. Just like in the case of functions of a single variable, we will need to investigate the properties of the n dimensional domain ℝ n .
