Subcutaneous injection of nicotine (6.7 mg/kg) for 6 weeks prior to mating did not affect male fertility of mice as indicated by litter size, implantation sites, or preimplantation losses. Injection of females prior to or during pregnancy with this dose did not affect fertility.
