ABSTRACT
The Economics of Profit, covers technical aspects of project development, whether a product or service, or a process or procedure for a business or for a voluntary school or community operation, or the ultimate need, for our family or self. The development of anything involves cost, whether it is in dollars and cents or time and effort. The Human Element, is devoted to subjects sometimes called the soft sciences. Communications, motivation teams, and teamwork and creativity are necessary elements of the Value Engineering (VE) process that must be considered because they are important when working with people whether in teams or on an individual basis. Although the application of VE is growing around the world and is presently being applied vigorously in Asia, from Japan and Korea to China and India, in every country in Europe, from the European Economic Community to Russia, Eastern Europe, and the Mid East, and in Africa, Australia, and New Zealand is an overlooked resource.
