ABSTRACT

The uses of aluminum include: in metal dusts, pyro powders, welding fumes; as an abrasive and catalyst (aluminum oxide); in food preparation and preservation industries; in medications such as antacids, analgesics, antidiarrheals and anti-ulcers; in astringents; and as an adjuvant for vaccines. The major use is as a structural material in the construction, automotive and aircraft industries. Aluminum can also create health problems when found as a containment of dialysis solutions, or in certain baby formulas such as soy-based formulas. 50
