ABSTRACT
The uses of naphthalene include: in the production of phthalic anhydride, carbamate pesticides, surface active agents and resins; as a synthetic tanning agent; moth repellant; and a constituent of many organic chemicals. It is also a component of antiseptics, lubricants, and in scintillation counting fluid.
