ABSTRACT
The chlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins are a class of compounds that contain 75 possible dioxins, differing by the amount and position of the substituted chlorines on the benzene rings. The one with four chlorines at positions 2, 3, 7, and 8 is called 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD).
